    • Yes, absolutely. Our head office is in Watford and we regularly travel to the likes of Hemel Hempstead and Stevenage, as well as the slightly smaller towns of St Albans, Rickmansworth, Welwyn Garden City and Bishop's Stortford. Due to the nature of our work, all of our teams are completely mobile and can visit any location within the county borders.

    • Whilst the majority of our works are carried out during the working day - so between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday - we realise that this isn't always convenient for every client or project. As a result, we are able to offer an out-of-hours (including weekends) service where requested.

    • Our expert concrete scanning technicians offer a number of different types of concrete scanning, including Hilti ferroscan surveys, concrete covermeter surveys, ultrasonic testing or scanning, and GPR concrete scanning using specialist ground penetrating radar equipment. Each methodology brings something different to the table, and is suited to a very specific range of applications. If you're not sure which method of concrete scanning is right for your project, please get in touch via our contact page or by calling 01923 551 889.

    • Due to the sheer number of services on offer, many of our clients are initially unsure as to which method of structural investigation they need. Thankfully, our experts are on hand to point them in the right direction, advising as to the most suitable and cost-effective approach.

    • From incremental plate load testing and CBR testing, to DCP and SRD testing, there are so many different testing options open to our construction materials testing clients. That's where our time-served engineers come in, available by phone, email or webform to advise as to the most appropriate methodology for your project.

    • Typically, we aim to turn reports around within 10 working days following completion of the works on site. That said, every project is different and presents its own unique set of challenges. If we believe more or less time is required for reporting, we'll make that clear in advance.

    • Certainly. A number of our team have undertaken confined space training and are extremely experienced in working in tighter, more restricted environments.

    • Every one of our specialist engineers is qualified to work at height, holding both IPAF and PASMA certifications. Depending upon the nature of the job, we can also bring all necessary access equipment with us, such as a MEWP (cherry picker or scissor lift) or a scaffold tower.

    • Typically, our lead time prior to attending site ranges from 1 to 2 weeks depending upon our current workload and subject to the receipt of a formal instruction. That said, we understand that some things just can't wait, and that certain projects demand a more immediate response. As a result, we'll always do our utmost to accommodate any urgent requests.

    • All of our services are charged based upon an extremely competitive day rate. For a quotation tailored to your specific project, simply get in touch.
